The project will encompass two training seminars and one final conference.
The first training seminar will take place in Bucharest in September 2015. It will have 15 participants, EU judges. The training will have six specialized sessions on introductory elements in private enforcement of EU competition law and will be transmitted live on line.
The second training seminar will take place in Brussels in November 2015. It will have 15 participants/ EU judges. The training will have six specialized sessions on advanced elements in private enforcement of EU competition law and will be transmitted live on line.
The final conference of the project will take place in Bucharest in April 2016. It will have 50 participants, representatives of media outlets (online and printed), the European Commission, the European Parliament, Embassies in Romania of EU Member States, the Romanian National Institute of the Magistracy, the Romanian Competition Council and the Romanian judiciary. The conference will host the presentation of the online training module.
On the 17th of May, EurActiv Romania organized the final conference of the ”Online Training Tool for European Judges on Private Enforcement of EU Competition Law” project.
